RevenueClass
For information about the use of special characters, see Special characters.
The revenue class of the account. The account type, not the revenue class, determines whether a service point belongs to a peer group. RevenueClass then determines the service point's peer group. RevenueClass is not an appropriate value for tracking a meter's specific rate class or rate category, because revenue class is an attribute of the account, not of the meter or service point.
This is a description attribute only and can have any value that is meaningful to you. This allows you to create custom reports based on the revenue class. This attribute is visible on the CSR dashboard in Itron Analytics. The revenue class is tied to one of three account types in Itron Analytics: Commercial, Industrial, or Residential. Revenue class is also one of the fields that creates the peer groups within Itron Analytics. Peer groups are based on revenue class, meter size, and postal code. If the revenue class is not provided, the peer groups will not be available.

Optional. Itron Analytics: RevenueClass is customizable and must be associated with an account type of Commercial, Residential, or Industrial in the Itron Analytics Admin Portal. This enables revenue classes to be searchable in the user interface. Only a RevenueClass with an account type of Residential can create peer groups for CSR, Compare Tool, and Customer Portal. A revenue class that is associated with a Residential account type displays different data than a revenue class that is associated with a Commercial account type. |
